With over 3 decades of experience in the educational field, Dr. Senthil has started ground breaking work in the form of the Learners Confluence, an educational service in India. The Learners Confluence is an educational program focused on developing a technology platform for Teachers with the goals of enhancing peer learning as well as knowledge sharing.
Dr. Senthil was the Principal Counsellor & Head Education Excellence Initiatives of CII Institute of Quality (CII IQ) until July 31st 2016. He joined CII IQ in April 2002 and till recently has been helping educational institutions to accelerate their journey in excellence in India and abroad. In his previous role, he was responsible for many novel educational initiatives viz. CII’s Schools Excellence Clusters (over 18), Education Excellence Programme, International Learning Missions to Singapore and Finland. Dr. Senthil cultivated Best Practices Forums, a program dedicated to mutually learn from each other viz National and Regional Summits on Quality in education, as well as School Excellence Conclaves (over 50). Most of the these have been across in government, government aided and private management schools across the Nation.
His capacity building training programme for senior leadership team and Management Committee members for educational institutions has been widely recognized within India and abroad. Some of the Institutions/ Trust/Organization/Boards have taken advantage include Central Chinmaya Mission Trust, Bhavan’s, TATA Steel, BVM Global Schools, KLE Society, NTPC Ltd, Council
For the Indian School Certificate Examinations, Central Board for Secondary Education, Calorx Foundation and Ministry of Education, Sultanate of Oman also had sent a delegation to get trained on these modules in India.
With goals of promoting the concept of Excellence in Education in every state within India and other countries Dr Senthil has travelled and presented in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, China, Finland, Japan, United states of America and Singapore.
Over 100 institutions/organizations have been assessed on various excellence frameworks i.e. EFQM, MBNQA, DSIB-KHDA, QCI-NABET, QMS, NBA, NAAC & CII Education Excellence Framework to help them to accelerate their excellence journey which includes TAFE, NTPC, BHEL, BEL, Canon, PSGIM, KIAMS, Government Schools, JSL Schools, Dr JJ Irani Award for School Excellence, to name a few.
He is also the Advisor for the Central Chinmaya Mission Trust Education Cell which manages all the Chinmaya Educational Institutions within India and Outside.
Dr. Senthil has shown himself to be a passionate teacher, a catalyst for change, persistent, and a leader with expressiveness for excellence in all fronts of his work in the education sector.
Ms.Neha Pradhan Arora

Neha Pradhan Arora is a creative and passionate educator who believes that meaningful learning happens only through experiences and connected relationships. It is hence, important to build and nurture schools not as institutions but as learning communities that allow every member to feel a sense of belonging and grow into empowered and empathic individuals as they learn to learn.
After completing her education in social work over 15 years ago, she honed her analytical and documentation skills along with field experience by working on various research-based government projects. She began her journey as a teacher at Akshar, the only inclusive high school in Kolkata. While at Akshar, she learnt and used laterally connected, integrated webs for teaching in the primary classes. She used games, activities, projects, learning festivals that put the student in charge of his or her learning. At the Shiv Nadar School, Noida; she created experiences that helped students understand marginalization, interdependence, sustainability and other such concepts through a process of action and reflection. She also helped create and strengthen systemic interventions that identify and address the different learning needs of students. These included enhancement programmes, bridge courses and others to support curriculum-based teaching of concepts and skills.
Her foray into outdoor learning experiences began at Akshar but strengthened into a core skill while at Swechha. She designed and conducted modules, trails, walks and rural camps which helped to build real-world perspective and understanding on issues like sustainable development, inclusion and ethical leadership. At Shiv Nadar School, she helped to map the outdoor learning experiences, within the city (trails and walks) and outside (camps and excursions) from pre-primary to Grade 12 to ensure that the experiences were aligned to the curriculum and the vision of the school. Learning experiences for students and teachers, through travel and exchange became an integral part of the school during her tenure there.
She believes in the nurturing of values and life skills as an integral part of growing up and has developed curriculum and resource for the same for children and adolescents. While the former was implemented as the I-Connect programme in Shiv Nadar School, the latter was implemented as the Me to We programme for adolescents in low-income communities, at Swechha. Both the programmes focused on self-awareness and social efficacy. Me to We also focused on entrepreneurship and employability as crucial components.
As a freelancer, since 2018, she has focused on working with students and teachers in different learning communities across the country that are keen to explore the real purpose of education. Whether as a facilitator with the Centre for Escalation of Peace or as a facilitator for the Social Justice programme of the Edmund Rice Schools, she continues to design and conduct programmes that provoke thought, build perspective and inspire action for change and growth; in young people and in the communities they inhabit.
As Project Manager, Rereeti, she researched, designed and implemented a learning project on Bangalore’s role in the First World War. The project created a learning module that was taken to 3 schools and resulted in a travelling exhibition that was viewed by over 10,000 children and adults in Bangalore.
As a core member of the tLC team (The Learners’ Confluence) she is driving CII’s pioneering project in West Bengal, Making Students Future Ready that aims at empowering and equipping teachers for the fast-changing future; so they will be able to nurture students appropriately. She also works closely with schools around India on strengthening themselves as learning communities.
She also writes for Teacher Plus regularly and shares her own travel learning experiences through social media. Whether for a class of children or an entire school of teachers, her ability to create meaningful enriching experiences that transform, make her the creative and passionate educator she is.
Adil Jahangir Mirza
Chief Strategist – The Learners’ Confluence
Adil Jahangir Mirza is an education enthusiast. He firmly believes that India’s destiny as a nation in global scheme of things is closely tied to way we treat our education system. Adil mirza had worked extensively in the field of ‘Technology Interventions for improvement in teaching and learning processes’. He is now spearheading a mission through a network of education confluencers’ to positively influence the new age learning processes in India. Prior to this Adil has handled outreach responsibilities at Bennett University – a Times of India Group Initiative. s.
Earlier, Adil handled business development initiatives as core member of the team for the India/South Asia region for globally renowned SMART Technologies. He has also worked with some of the big names in education space like Pearson Education and NIIT Ltd.
Adil holds an MBA degree in marketing and finance and speaks regularly at the industry events.

R Subramanian (Subbu) is a seasoned professional with 30 years of rich experience in Teaching, Training, Administration, and Research & Development. Subbu brings to TLC a thorough experience & skills in developing curriculum to accommodate leadership development programs, learning styles, maximizing student’s comprehension, staff selection, organizational excellence and up gradation. During his experience in working with institutions across the country he has prepared Corporation Schools of Chennai and Kolkata for NABET accreditation. Subbu has performed assessment of schools in Jamshedpur for JJ Irani Award instituted by TATA Steel based on Malcolm Balridge Excellence Model.
Subbu has been associated with CII- Institute of Quality where he has been an Assessor for CII – Business Excellence Model based on EFQM Assessment done in institutions and industry. In his tenure at CII Subbu has Successfully organised training programmes for schools across India on CII Education Excellence Model based on EFQM and TQM in education. Subbu has conducted National and Regional summits on education excellence at several places like Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, Coimbatore, Madurai and Chandigarh
